Once, this Castle used to belong to the Duke of Derbyshire but since his death it lay abandoned for many years. That was until Heaton INC refurbished it and turned it into five star accommodation.

The factory was once the heart of this little town. Now it lays dormant and empty. It hasn't been open since about the 1930's, when it was said a terrible accent killed a worker

The Railway is the only form of public transport in and out of town. Trains leave three times a day from this heritage listed Train Station.

The manor has been in the Heaton family for generations. It is a large house set in well kept grounds that back onto the forrest.

The Flemming family have been horse breeders in Lampton Hill for generations. Now the current Flemmings run a riding school and even board horses for those who don’t have big enough yards. The Stables are on four acres of land and surrounded by forests full of trails. The stables are large and newly re-furbished.

People claim that odd things happen in the forest. Other's claim that's just a bunch of superstition. Everyone can agree though, walking alone at night in the forest is creepy

A few years ago a Mini-Golf course opened under the name Meyer's and included a driving range and batting cages.

Just outside of Lampton is Red River City, a theme park complete with rollar coasters and a year round carnival theme.

Only open during the summer, The Drive-in plays a movie each week, with one session a night. You can either park on top of the hill and watch from your car or bring a picnic and a blanket and sit on the hill-side

Lamption Yacht Club (LYC) is the town's only club for the more wealthy residents, where non-members are not permitted. The building is property of Heaton INC, and features a well decorated banquet hall, and a high class dining lounge and bar.

About an hour and a half from Lampton is this rather small beach. During the summer holidays, it isn't un-usual to find cars packed with Lampton teens mirgrating to the beach, and even camping over-night

The Parklands are a large reserve that has been set aside to stay natural forest and parks. It has a few barbeque and park areas as well as some walking trails and bike tracks.

Something big taking place somewhere that isn't Lampton Hill? Wow.

The town hall is one of the oldest buildings in town beside the castle. All official town proceedings take place in the hall. It is also home to the office of the mayor.

The theatre is a rather new complex, built and funded for the Lampton Players. With the new theatre, the productions are said to be bigger and better then before.

Another one of the town's heritage listed buildings, the church stands across from the town square. Services still run twice each Sunday and mass on Thursdays. It is also a favourite place to get married.

The Markets are the best place in Lampton Hill to by fresh produce or a home-made pie. Besides the food, there are also stalls for jewellery and other knick-knacks. The Markets are open every morning from five till eleven am and every evening from five until eight pm.

The High Street is the closest Lampton has to a shopping centre (though Heaton INC keep submitting plans to build one).. Most of the town's retail in the one spot, along with a few places to eat.

The Square is a large, well, square of grass in the centre of town. It's perfect for a picnic in the gazebo and it's where a lot of events like the Summer Days Carnival take place

The Community Centre always has something happening. Craft lessons, Dance lessons, anything your heart desires. Attrached is a Dare Care centre for the littlies.

Lampton has always boasted it's large collection of literature. As a plus, the library often takes volunteers so if you're looking for a way to give back to the community, here's a great place to start.

Lampton Cinema has been around for a long time. It has a number of theaters inside and it's selling point is that it shows both old and new movies year round.

The only bowling alley in Lampton is actually quite a popular hang out when it comes to group events. It has a classic theme and even cosmic bowling nights.

Enjoy the arcade? Pinball! is Lampton's local arcade. It has everything your arcade should have, from Mr. Pac Man to Ski-ball and Dance Dance Revolution.

Into hockey or figure skating? Just want to ice skate with friends? Lampton Ice Rink is open year round.

Heaton on High are a new apartment block built by, you guessed it, Heaton INC. Not all the residents were happy with it being built, as it has brought in some younger people.

Probably one of the tallest buildings in town, Heaton INC Offices is the closest thing Lampton Hill has to a high-rise. An impressing looking building that houses all of the various office departments.

The Loft Gallery is a small Gallery that shows works of local artists and occasionally plays hosts to shows of none-local works. There are rooms in the back for art lessons

This in-door pool facility offers two pools. One for laps and another for having fun. It also has a spa area and a weight room.

Viva's Diner has been around for as long as anyone can remember, and has long since passed on to several different owners, never changing the name from the original. It is the only diner open 24 hrs, 7 days a week, and offers a wide variety of food with an affordable, average price range.

The Element is Lampton Hill's hottest club, and so far, the most popular in town. The club has a live DJ on weekends, and occasionally employs local bands to play on the stage. Ages 18+ are admitted into the club, though fake I.D.s are rarely noticed. Inside, the lights are bright, the music is jumpin', and the dance floor is inviting you on in.

Hetty's is an old fashioned English Tea-House. Every sunday afternoon at four they serve a high-tea. However the other six days you can count on Hetty's for a good cup of tea and and old fashioned meal.

The Lampton Sports fields house several grounds, feilds and courts. Including some paved for certain sports.

The threads in this board have taken place in the past, prior to the forum jump, they are still playable. But please take note that they happen in the past and they have already affected the future. You may also start new threads in here if you wish to play anything that's happened in the 'past' further on into the roleplay
