THE WHAT
EXCITABLE. Hannah is a little blonde fire-cracker. A ball of energy. The energy can be both negative and positive, but she always has it. It doesn’t take much to excite the girl, and she’s often the one squealing in joy at some thing or another. The trouble is her energy is so scattered. She can never sit still for too long, and constantly has to fiddle with things. She’s flighty, which makes her not exactly reliable. Constantly swaying from one opinion to the other. Her mind easy to change, which also makes her rather impressionable. Since she hasn’t completely figured out who she is and what she stands for on a lot of things.
WHOLESOME. A lot of it has to do with the fact she’s been brought up rather sheltered by her grandmother to one way of life, and to another by her parents, Hannah is a rather wholesome person. She doesn’t tend to dress in revealing close or talk about inappropriate subjects. She’s also polite to her elders and those around her. She’s the girl other parents love to have over, because they think she’s the right sort of friend and will be a good influence. She volunteers at the hospital and is always taking part on charity things with her grandmother. The thing is though, it’s not that she’s doing all this because of her own personal morals or beliefs. She just isn’t aware there is another way of life. Or that she can rebel against her grandmother or parents.
PERKY. A regular ball of sunshine, is our Hannah. She’s definitely the text-book stereotype of a Blonde Cheer-leader. Except perhaps without the b itch factor. The kid’s too sweet, she’d give you a tooth-ache. She’s constantly positive, and even tries her best to be in positive in bad situations, bless her heart. It’s not exactly healthy though now is it? When you don’t express your negative emotions. It’s rare for her to yell or get really upset, but when she does it’s a far bigger deal because it’s things that have been building up for a fairly long while.

THE WHY
BEST MEMORY. Being the sort to love romance, Hannah’s best memory was of, naturally, her first kiss. She was fifteen, and it was summer. She was at a friend’s birthday party and she and the boy she liked were in the pool, joking and flirting. Then he leaned over and kissed her lips softly; very innocent and sweet. Of course both being young and fickle by the next month they had moved on. Still though, it was rather sweet for what it was.
WORST MEMORY. The halls were full. It was just after last period, so everyone was still buzzing around, calling out to friends, going to their lockers. Hannah had been standing by his locker. Waiting for him. That’s what girlfriends did right? She had kissed him twice now. The second had been like..Really intense. It meant something. She knew it. However when he had appeared, and frowned at her, it soon dawned on her that she had done the wrong thing. He didn’t have to do what he did though. He had told her, in front of everyone, in the cruellest way possible, that she was nothing to him. She wouldn’t cry in front of him though. No, she waited ‘till she was safely locked in the bathroom cubicle before letting go, letting her tears flow.
Growing up for Hannah, wasn’t exactly conventional. For the first twelve years she grew up on a small farm outside of town. With her rather alternative, unmarried parents. Technically, by conventional law, she should have been a Prescott considering that was her father’s last name. However the pair had made a choice just to name Hannah with her mother’s last name, because how often did that happen? It wasn’t just the choice of surname that was alternative either. They were both vegans who ate only organic food with no artificial content or preservatives. As therefore so did their daughter. They also saw the world in a very spiritual way and believed in natural healing and all sorts of things a lot of mainstream people would find strange.
Not knowing any other way of life, besides small snippets of her friends lives (which Hannah herself found weird), Hannah grew up loving her families way of life. She was a happy child by nature so not a lot fazed her at all. Of course as she got older she’d do the normal things kids do, like sneaking sugary foods and eating meat at friend’s houses and school. For the most part though, she was content. When she was twelve though, the summer before she started high school in grade seven, her grandmother on her father’s side (who had never approved of the way they lived and raised their daughter) made an offer that was impossible to refuse. Mainly because she herself was rather impossible to refuse the woman. She wanted Hannah to come and stay with her, and wanted to pay to send her to private school for high school.
Grandma Deanie’s world was a lot different to anything Hannah was used to. It was full of expensive clothes, parties, charity events and her grandma pushing her towards wealthy young men. The young blonde found she really liked it. She loved the clothes and being allowed to eat new and exciting foods and she loved her school and making friends, and the small white kitten her grandmother brought her for her thirteenth birthday. The perky little thing fit much better into that would then her parent’s world. Much to Deanie’s delight.
Trouble was, she fell for a boy who most definitely was not even close to the trust fund kids Deanie kept sending her way. She fell in love, acted like the giggling fool she was and assumed two kisses meant it was the real thing and he denied her, in front of the whole school and broke her sophomore heart. Now she has the summer to lick her wounds and try to... un-fall for him. If that’s even possible.
