THE WHAT
LOYAL. You've never met a truer friend than Aiden. No matter what, he's there for those who need him. He has your back and will never let you down no matter what. Mess with his friends and he'll mess you up. But just like any decent guy, he's not afraid to tell you when you're being a prick to someone who doesn't deserve it.
CHIVALROUS. Yes, a man who opens doors. Despite having a drunken father, Aiden was raised properly. He'll help you out when you need it, he won't call you a whore unless you honest to God are one, he'll bring flowers to impress your mother and he'll even help out that little old lady across the street. One thing's for sure, if you're going on a date with this guy, he's not the type to leave you with the bill even if he has to wash all the dishes in the kitchen with nothing but his tongue. He won't push you into anything either, but he's not afraid to take a leap of faith though.
JOKER. Nobody in life can be serious all the time. This is a strong belief that Aiden hold which is probably why this guy is almost always joking around. He's a bit of a goofball, but he's loveable, you know it ladies! Unlike some little assholes though, Aiden knows when it's time to be serious. The grass is always greener when Aiden's around though and weird or funny things tend to happen to him, believe me.

DISLIKES. Clowns, Squirrels, Bitches, Jerks, His father, Peas, Sluts, Waking up in odd places after a night of drinking, Rude and disrespectful people, Olives
THE WHY
BEST MEMORY. Everybody has, or at least should have, someone to look up to. For Aiden, that someone was his older brother, Eric. His favorite memory is just being with his brother, playing man hunt as kids, getting into trouble together and shooting the shit as they got older. They got along well enough, but being siblings, there were some arguments and disputes as well as the occasional fist fight. But all in all, Aiden loved the childhood he had with his brother.
WORST MEMORY. Aiden's father was a drunk. He never beat his children or anything like that, but the man was constantly spending the family's money on alcohol. It broke Aiden's mother's heart to see it happen constantly and a his worst memory is witnessing that heart break. He didn't lie to see her cry when he was a kid and he still doesn't. It just doesn't seem right. In the eyes of a child, the parents are supposed to be strong, invincible to anything and everything.
Aiden was born and raised in the U.S.A. His parents were both Irish, though his mother was also born in America. He was the second of four children and was always close to his brothers, especially his older brother, Eric. His younger sister, Lelia, didn't come along for quite a few years. Despite the fact that his father was a drunk, Aiden's childhood was a good one and he wouldn't trade it for the world. It wasn't entirely clear as to why his father started drinking. He started long before Aiden was born. The most likely reason was that he was Irish and it wasn't uncommon for Irishmen to drink a lot.
His mother worked hard to support the family as his father got worse with his drinking problem. If it wasn't for her, Aiden didn't know what the family would have done. Every summer, he and his brothers would be shipped off to Ireland for a few weeks to stay with his rather wealthy grandparents. These were some of the greatest times of his life and he still enjoys going to visit the old folks. His grandfather always told the best stories and despite her strict, polished manner, his grandmother was perhaps one of the best cooks in the world.
Since his father was a mechanic, Aiden learned a few things himself. He enjoyed working on cars, go-carts, four wheelers, bikes... just about anything he could get his hands on. He was fairly good at it too and even managed to get a job helping out in a mechanic's shop in America. Some of the best times with his father were spent working on cars together. This was when he was sober of course and not working.
If it wasn't for his uncle coming to visit from Ireland, Aiden probably would have never even picked up a guitar. He had been eleven at the time and the music flowing through the air when his uncle played was perhaps the most amazing thing he had ever heard. His uncle stayed with them for a while and thanks to this man, Aiden learned how to play guitar, sing and do all the things he wanted to create music. He and his friends even made their own band.
Aiden had been fourteen when his mother had decided she had had enough with her drunken husband. She was pregnant with Lelia at the time and didn't want to raise another child with him. So she packed up her boys and left, going as far away as possible. This is how the family wound up in England where the boys finished school and Lelia was born. She was a sweet little girl and Aiden loved his little sister. He would do anything for her and now, as she's getting older, Aiden spoils the hell out of her.
Now, at twenty years old, Aiden is working as a mechanic to get himself on his feet and support himself. He hasn't heard from his father in years and is aspiring to be a successful musician. It's his dream to play music for the rest of his life and nothing is going to get in the way of this.
THE HOW
RP SAMPLE.“No.”
“PLEASE?”
“I said
NO.”
Lelia pouted, sticking her lower lip out and knitting her brows together. Aiden sighed in resignation and pinched the bridge of his nose. It was hard to deny the angelic face of his six year old sister, Lelia, with those brown pigtail braids, the little yellow sun dress and the glistening green eyes that just seemed to say,
if you deny me of this, I'll never forgive you.“Fine, you can go,” Aiden said, knowing this would make her happy. She squeaked in happiness and ran from his room to go and tell their mother so that she could help get her ready. Groaning, Aiden pushed himself up and looked at the clock tiredly. With yet another groan, he got to his feet and practically stumbled out the door to the bathroom so that he could get a shower before leaving to go fishing with Eric and now apparently Lelia.
Before he could even reach the bathroom though, his mother was there, hands on her hips. “You know what happened last time?” she asked him, pursing her lips together. Aiden rolled his eyes, attempting to go by her, but she blocked him. “Ma, she won't fall in again, alright?” She looked doubtful though and Aiden rubbed the back of his neck, growing nervous under her gaze. If Lelia fell into the water again, his mother would surely murder both him and Eric. “Look, I
promise she won't fall in.” After a moment longer of her scrutinizing stare, she finally stepped to the side, allowing him to pass by and go into the bathroom.
When he was ready to leave, Aiden jogged down the steps, jumping the last few. Lelia, who was waiting for him in her fishing gear, giggled and he gave her a smile. “Ready?” he asked her, grabbing his car keys along with his tackle box and fishing rod. “Yup!” she said, walking over to the door in her fishing boots, letting her braids swing. He chuckled and followed his little sister out the door and to his car which was parked in the driveway. “I call shotgun!” Lelia called, even though there was nobody to fight her for it.
Getting into the car on the driver's side, Aiden buckled his seatbelt and gave Lelia a pointed look, prompting her to put hers on. Starting the engine and letting Lelia choose the radio station, Aiden pulled out of the driveway, looking back as he did so.
BAM! "Shit," Aiden let the word slip without thinking and Lelia gave him a look. "Stay here."
Climbing out of the car, Aiden jogged behind it, picking up the neighbor's trashcans. He glanced around, red faced and embarrassed, praying that nobody had seen this little incident. Not only was there a huge dent in the trashcan, but there was also one on his car as well. Cringing slightly, Aiden, surveyed the damage, knowing he should hurry so he didn't get caught by his mother or the neighbors.
